Thermal Body Temperature CCTV
Our Thermal CCTV systems are comprised of 2 main components which are tripod mounted and set 3 metres apart. A Thermal Camera using uncooled VOx sensor technology and facial detection software, enabling the camera to read the image and pinpoint the forehead to achieve a highly accurate reading, and a Blackbody which is set to 35°c provides a constant temperature.
The camera uses this as a reference point to read the temperature of the individuals. If the camera detects someone with a “higher than normal” temperature it raises a temperature alert and can activate the integrated light/siren or output to a number of 3rd party systems including access control.

What is Thermal CCTV and how does it work?

This provides rapid and preliminary temperature screening in office buildings, factories, stations, airports and other public places, with accuracy up to 0.3°C and enables you to identify and investigate potential areas to pursue.
This information could then be relayed to a central computer system or displayed directly on a monitor for staff to view.
