The Background
Procter Contracts proudly presents the successful completion of a fencing project at the Trostre Park B&M Superstore in Llanelli. As the appointed perimter security contractor by the main contractor, we were entrusted with providing high-quality fencing solutions for both the External Face of the Service Yard and the Garden Centre Perimeter. Our expertise and commitment to excellence ensured the project’s seamless execution and delivered exceptional results.
Project Scope:
The Garden Centre Perimeter fencing, with a height of 4.8 meters, comprised three distinct sections, each catering to specific requirements. The lower section (0 to 2.5 meters) incorporated 358/prison mesh fencing, providing enhanced security without compromising visibility. For the middle section (2.5 to 4.2 meters), 72x25mm weld mesh rolls were utilized, ensuring structural integrity and durability. The topmost section (4.2 to 4.8 meters) featured three strands of short barbed tape, enhancing the overall security of the perimeter. Additionally, Tenax windbreak mesh was installed behind the fence mesh up to a height of 4.2 meters.
Key Features:
In line with the client’s requirements, Procter Contracts also supplied a 3m x 3m lockable delivery gate that perfectly matched the fencing aesthetics. Furthermore, three fire escape gates were installed, designed to match the fencing and equipped with appropriate push pad emergency escape ironmongery, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
